HubSpot wires live G2 buyer-intent signals into Breeze Assistant, giving small B2B teams instant competitive context
A new G2 Connector in HubSpot's September release pipes real-time review and intent data into Breeze Assistant and Agent Hub — surfacing which competitors a prospect is actively evaluating before the first sales call.
HubSpot has shipped a G2 Connector into Breeze Assistant and Agent Hub, piping live review and buyer-intent data directly into the CRM surface a rep is already looking at. The feature, part of a September connector wave riding on top of the Fall 2026 Spotlight release unveiled September 16, means a seller preparing for a discovery call can see which competitors a prospect has been researching on G2, which reviews they’ve been reading, and which objections are forming before a word is exchanged.
That’s the structural move. Competitive context has historically lived one tool over, in a tab a rep doesn’t open until the deal is already drifting. Collapsing that gap into the assistant layer is where small B2B teams gain the most, because they’re the ones who can’t afford a dedicated competitive-intelligence function.
The G2 Connector didn’t arrive alone. HubSpot’s September push also added Fathom, Xero, Box, Canva, Gong, and Slack connectors, with the Gong Connector routing revenue intelligence and deal insights into the same CRM spine. Breeze Assistant itself is positioned as the orchestration layer: natural-language descriptions in, agent-assigned proposals, reports, and campaign plans out, all grounded in CRM context. The updated Prospecting Agent now monitors 40+ buying signals, assembles the buying group, and drafts personalized outreach.
HubSpot’s own numbers, drawn from its Professional and Enterprise base, claim Breeze Assistant users generate 2.2x more leads and that AI sales tools cut time-to-close nearly in half. Vendor data, read accordingly.
The timing isn’t coincidental. MarTech’s October 1 roundup catalogued ZoomInfo’s Superhuman Go integration and Gong’s Mission Callisto enrichment layer in the same week. Three vendors, three distinct pipes into the seller’s workflow, each insisting the signal must arrive before the call rather than after.
The posture across all three is the same: the CRM tab, the inbox, the call-prep screen, whichever surface the rep actually looks at becomes the venue where intent data must now live. The research step, as a discrete thing a rep does, is being quietly deprecated.
